Accidental Activist

The Accidental Activist is a term that Ibrahim Nehme used to describe himself. The Accidental Activist became activist by accident, chance or suddenly found themselves in the situation of starting a movement and of engaging in activism.
The Accidental Activist sees the revolution as a revolution of the self and tries to shift collective consciousness with small ripples stirred up by small projects and small victories. Theory building and documenting the knowledge process are the fall back whereas community building is the actual force of the Accidental Activist.
The Accidental Activist therefore might just be a product of the right community. For the Accidental Activist sees the possibility of a  movement starting on the dancefloor or with a written line.
